2018 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition
The Art Exhibition is held at King George Square from 5 -12 October, hosted by Richmond Fellowship Queensland. The exhibition features a collection of artwork by artists with a lived experience of mental illness.
Coinciding with Queensland Mental Health Week and World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2018, the event aims to raise awareness of and destigmatise mental illness, as well as educate the community about the importance of mental health and wellbeing in everyone’s lives.
Previously hosted by MIFQ and now in its 27th year, the week-long event will feature 256 unique pieces of art by 139 artists with a lived experience of mental illness and recovery. This year, the event also celebrates the recent merging of MIFQ with RFQ.
